Event Details

In Jane's interactive and fun math games workshop, participants will learn how to use games as a teaching strategy and why this powerful strategy works. The handout and game ideas will focus on the following areas of the ELEMENTARY CURRICULUM: numeration and number sense, basic operations, fact families and fluency, place value, patterning, data management and more. Games integrate problem solving skills and strategies and use cards, all kinds of dice and dominoes. Come prepared to play and learn many game strategies and tips that appeal to all learning styles and will compliment any math program. Get your math program rolling with this great workshop opportunity!

This is a half-day workshop. Workshop fee includes handouts and a copy of one of Jane's books (Shuffling into Math or All Hands on Deck).
